Crocus Ambassador:  Brian Mullan (Whangaparaoa Rotary Club, Auckland NZ)

We’re delighted to have as our Crocus Ambassador in New Zealand, Rtn Brian Mullan.

 

Brian writes: 

 

'As a former Grantham Rotarian and now President of the Rotary Club of Whangaparaoa, I have overcome all the perceived admin difficulties and have imported the first 200 Rotary Crocuses into NZ. Our Club is 25k North of Auckland city centre and is now leading the NZ initiative to have the Rotary Crocus on sale on World Polio Day 2014.'

Crocus Ambassador:  Michael Fagg

Michael is the Polio Plus District Chair for District 9940.


He has been a Rotarian since 1993 and held various Club Director positions before becoming President in Karori, Wellington, New Zealand in 2010/12.


He was part of District team to India in January 2011 for the NID programme and was there when the last Polio Victim was identified (13 January 2011).


He worked in the Stock & Station Industry in Rural New Zealand before running several businesses.


His Community involvement included Crippled Children's Society and Jaycees.


He is married to Heather, a keen supporter of Polio Plus and they have four adult children and three grandchildren.
